Is your brand performing the way you need it to?

“A brand’s strength is built upon its determination to promote its own distinctive values and mission.”
– Jean-Noel Kapferer

Your business evolves. You may be offering a different range of services to those you offered when you first launched, or perhaps refined a niche you want to focus on. It’s time to realign your brand to your new direction and reduce the risk of being outpaced by your competition.
Your business deserves a brand that works.

Sometimes brands stop working as effectively as they previously did. The warning signs are minor, but they slowly start to escalate. Market share starts to fall, so businesses start offering discounts and the race to the bottom erodes margins across the board. Buyers become more price-sensitive and then start to shop around for the lowest price and you potentially lose the client for good.
It doesn’t need to be this way.

We can help.

When do we recommend a brand overhaul?

While it is rare that we recommend a complete brand overhaul, sometimes it is required. A few situations where this may apply to you are as follows:

  • Clients are not understanding what the business does.
  • Values/philosophy are not clear.
  • Business name no longer aligns with services.
  • Brand personality and tone of voice are not reflective of service and values.
  • You feel embarrassed by your brand and/or materials.
  • The business is going through an ownership change, merger, acquisition, or spin-off.
  • The business is expanding into new markets or geography.
  • A negative image has been received and you need to disassociate from it.

When do we recommend a brand refresh?

A brand refresh is more suited to organisations that are on the right track but need some assistance achieving goals and maximising potential. For instance:

  • Not receiving consistent engagement.
  • Not standing out amongst competitors.
  • No clear point of difference.
  • Out-dated materials and brand.
  • No access to logos and brand material.
  • Inconsistency across advertisements, mediums and collateral.
