Your booth is a physical representation of your business, its brand and values. Make sure your brand is clearly visible, after all, it is what prospective clients will associate with your business. Having a prime booth location spot means that your booth will not go unnoticed and get maximum foot traffic. Although you may have to pay more for a prime spot, the new clients you will gain through being easily accessible will make the extra spend worthwhile for your business.

 

Make your booth the ultimate destination

Trade shows can be physically demanding on those attending, make your booth the place they want to be by offering refreshments. Bottles of water or bags of treats with a sticker of your company’s logo and contact details are a simple way of keeping your business at potential client’s fingertips. Seats are also a welcomed sight for trade show attendees – instead of keeping them standing offer a seat when having a chat with them.

 

Hand out the right materials

Save your brochures for prospective clients who are genuinely interested in your business’s services and get one of your friendly booth attendants to hand out flyers to passers-by. Flyers are cost-effective for small trade show budgets, they quickly catch prospective client’s attention and can bring them back to your booth. Ensure your flyers have a catchy title, striking design and your business contact details.

 

Give out promotional productions

There’s more to hand out at trade shows than business cards, flyers, brochures and refreshments. Go the extra mile and hand out promotional products! Prospective clients can always find a use for a magnet, pen or notepad and what better way to keep your business on their mind then by having your logo and contact details close by.

 

Approachable and friendly booth attendants

The last but arguably most important tip is for the people on your booth to be engaging and welcoming to prospective clients. Ensure your booth attendants look the part and are always wearing a name tag. Having attendants who look professional and can easily strike up a conversation will put clients at ease and give them a taste of the benefit they will gain from working with your business.
